The Company
Erikshjälpen is a child rights organization working to improve children’s rights, both in Sweden and internationally. The public is significantly more familiar with Erikshjälpen’s second-hand stores than with its child rights work. To strengthen its long-term efforts, Erikshjälpen needs to raise awareness about children’s rights while engaging more people to become donors.
Background
The task was to create a product that both educates families about children’s rights and increases the willingness to support Erikshjälpen’s work. Through an engaging and playful concept, we aim to build relationships, spread knowledge, and make it easy for families to understand the importance of children’s rights, while also strengthening Erikshjälpen’s brand and contributing to increased funding.
With this in mind one of the most common dreams among children is to become a hero. Everyone knows a hero. Erikshjälpen acts as a hero for children around the world, and therefore, every donor becomes a hero too.
Solution
Everyone can become a hero with Erikshjälpen. Through Erikshjälpen’s new donation concept, Erikshjältar, families can subscribe to receive hero missions they solve together. Through playful tasks, children and adults develop their hero skills while learning about children’s rights.
To recruit heroes for Erikshjälpen, a communication concept has been created that portrays everyday superheroes, showing that anyone can become an Erikshjälte.
